Our kickboxing program is a blend of several stand-up styles, including
kickboxing, boxing, Taekwondo and Muay Thai. A typical class consists of warm-ups, stretching, shadow boxing, techniques,
mitt work, heavy bags and sparring. We also teach self-defense techniques to make our students well-rounded.
In our kids’ classes, we disguise repetition to keep them from getting bored,
give positive feedback when they are doing well and we usually play a game at the end of class to reward them when they try
their best.
Furthermore, we teach valuable life-skills in our kids' programs, such as conflict resolution,
dealing with bullies and anti-abduction. We encourage kids to behave honorably and do well in school.
Safety is important. Students are required to wear protective gear when sparring. Sparring
is limited for beginners and only light contact is permitted. Advanced students are expected to help teach beginners, not
compete with them. We take care of our training partners.
